ICMA Will Take mPower Advice 'Public'

February 6, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - ICMA Retirement Corporation will offer its clients online financial advice and guidance via mPower's Personal Advisor service.

ICMA, which assists in the establishment and maintenance of retirement plans for state and local government employers, serves more than 6,000 government employers nationwide with over 500,000 participants, according to a news release from ICMA.

Under this new arrangement, participants in ICMA plans now can benefit from free or low-cost access to mPower’s online analysis tools

Plan participants can choose between three levels of mPower advisory services, they are:

· participants are given general asset class level recommendations at no cost, customized to their current savings level, goals, time until retirement, and risk tolerance,
· participants in ICMA-RC plans can receive asset class guidance tailored to the fund options offered in their specific plan, and
· for a fee, participants can use mPower’s independent fund analysis and advice service, which offers a greater level of personal customization and the ability to evaluate investments based upon each product’s actual historical results and risk level.
