ING Offers Morningstar Advice

According to a news media announcement, ING will be making available online advice from Morningstar to its 34,000 plans, which ING said cover 2.3 million defined contribution participants.

ING said in the announcement that it will offer plans Morningstar ClearFuture, Morningstar’s primary advice service as well as Morningstar’s ClearFuture Statement, which includes in a personalized statement and suggestions on how participants can improve their portfolios.

In addition, Morningstar is creating a customized version of the Morningstar Advisor Workstation, a set of online investment planning and advice tools, which will be used by financial advisers within the newly formed ING Financial Horizons Advisory Program, a division of ING Financial Advisers, LLC, according to the announcement.
