Intacct Users Gain Access to The Principal Plans

December 10, 2001(PLANSPONSOR.com) - Accounting solutions provider Intacct has teamed up with The Principal Financial Group to simplify plan setup and management at small and mid-sized companies.

Under the agreement, The Principal’s 401(k) and retirement services was added to the online offerings of the Intacct Online professional accounting and business system.

· online 401(k) plan administration and testing,
· daily valuation record keeping,
· investment assistance through licensed financial professionals,
· online plan design assistance, and
· around the clock access to plan status

In addition, the integration with The Principal’s retirement solutions gives Intacct users the following benefits:

· single sign-on access
· automated synchronization of employee plan participants between the Intacct system and The Principal, and
· automated posting of contributor data from Intacct’s payroll applications into the 401(k) plan

Future versions of the integrated offering will include annual compliance reporting.
