Intuit Launches New Small Biz Resource Site
July 25, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Small businesses
can get some help deciphering the new tax legislation,
courtesy of Intuit's new payroll resource Web site.
Reported by Camilla Klein
Information on the site includes:
- an overview of how the new legislation impacts businesses and individuals,
- a W-4 Wizard to assess if payroll withholdings should change as a result of the new tax laws,
- tip sheets for business owners for communicating tax changes to employees,
- detailed information on major reforms, such as the repeal of the estate tax
The site explains the provisions of the new
legislation, including the creation of a new credit for
employer-provided childcare, new retirement and pension
provisions, and an allowance for business contributions to
education IRAs.
These provisions are explained on the site where they
are outlined for easy “click and read” access.
The site can be accessed at www.payrolltaxrelief.com ,
