Intuit Plugs in Online Payroll Service

According to the announcement, Online Payroll users can enter employees’ hours and Intuit Online Payroll automatically calculates earnings, payroll taxes and deductions.   The service automatically fills in the latest federal and many state tax forms – users simply print, sign and mail, and small businesses can also pay federal and select state taxes with E-Pay at no additional cost.

Additionally, Intuit Online Payroll ensures that payroll information is backed-up on Intuit’s firewall-protected servers.   As an online service, there are never any patches, updates or tax tables for small businesses to download, according to the firm.
