IRS to Host Webinar About Fixing Plan Mistakes
The free event will cover how updates to the IRS correction program make fixing certain retirement plan failures easier.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced a free webinar, “Correcting Retirement Plan Mistakes – Summer 2015 Updates,” will be held August 4, at 2 p.m. (Eastern).
The agency said the event will cover how Revenue Procedures 2015-27 and 2015-28 make it easier to:
- Correct elective deferrals failures;
- Fix ongoing IRC 415 annual addition limit failures affecting some plans;
- Recover overpayments paid to plan participants; and
- Fix some participant loans and required minimum distribution failures with reduced IRS fees.
