The Janus Aspen Moderate Allocation Portfolio’s primary benchmark is the S&P 500 Index and the secondary benchmark is the Moderate Allocation Index, an internally calculated hypothetical combination of unmanaged indices that combines the total returns from the Dow Jones Wilshire 5000 Index (40%), the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate Bond Index (40%), the MSCI EAFE® Index (18%), and the MSCI Emerging Markets (Free) Index (2%).
