John Hancock Adds GMO Sub-advised Funds

June 19, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - John Hancock Financial Services Inc. has added seven mutual funds sub-advised by institutional asset manager GMO to its offerings within its 401(k) retirement plan division.

According to the announcement, the funds will be available through financial advisors and will implement the following strategies:

  • GMO’s US Core strategy in the John Hancock US Core Fund,
  • GMO’s Intrinsic Value strategy in the John Hancock Intrinsic Value Fund,
  • GMO’s International Disciplined Equity strategy in the John Hancock International Core Fund,
  • GMO’s International Growth strategy in the John Hancock International Growth Fund,
  • GMO’s Small-Mid Cap Growth strategy in the John Hancock Growth Opportunities Fund,
  • GMO’s Small-Mid Cap Value strategy in the John Hancock Value Opportunities Fund,
  • GMO’s Growth strategy in the John Hancock Growth Fund.
