Kelley Drye Adds Three Partners and Two Special Counsel

July 14, 2011 ( - Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has announced the election of three partners and appointment of two special counsel.

Victoria H. Zerjav, who practices out of the firm’s Stamford, Connecticut, office, is a member of the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group. She advises clients on deferred compensation, supplemental executive retirement plans, incentive plans and equity-based compensation and employment and severance agreements. Zerjav received her J.D., Order of the Coif, from Washington University School of Law, her M.A. in social psychology from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and her B.A., cum laude, from Fontbonne University.

August T. Horvath is a member of the Antitrust and Advertising and Marketing practice groups, and will be based in the firm’s New York office. He represents clients in civil and criminal competition matters and false advertising and deceptive practices challenges, as well as antitrust compliance and establishing marketing programs. Horvath received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, his Ph.D. in communication theory and research from the University of Southern California, and his B.A. from the University of Windsor.

Andrew E. Minkiewicz is a member of the Government Relations and Public Policy and Trade Associations practice groups in the Washington, D.C. office. He focuses on representing commercial fishing interests and maritime organizations, and advises clients on legislative initiatives, civil enforcement matters, and regulatory issues and strategies. Minkiewicz received his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, and his B.A. with distinction from Colby College.

Special counsel Andrew H. Lee is a member of the Tax practice group in the New York office.  His practice includes counseling on tax issues of mergers and acquisitions, affiliated groups of corporations, debt financing, cross-border transactions and transfer pricing. Lee also represents taxpayers in controversies involving the IRS and state and local tax authorities. He previously served as a senior attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service. Lee received his LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law, his J.D. from New York University School of Law, and his A.B. from Brown University.

Based in Washington, D.C., Joseph D. Wilson is a member of the Litigation practice group.  His experience involves intellectual property, commercial, and telecommunications litigation.  Wilson received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.S.F.S., cum laude, from Georgetown University.
