A news release from SHPS said the new features and functions provide increased security and stability, as well as improved flexibility for rapid implementation.
According to the announcement, the SHPS systems are designed to balance the expectations of both mid-sized and large employers who need cost-effective solutions that can handle their increasingly complex and labor intensive benefits requirements.
The news release said the company is preparing its next systems enhancement that is expected to be released in Spring 2006.
SHPS serves employers, health plans, hospitals and governments with more than 2,200 nurses and health professionals, employee benefit specialists and IT experts in facilities across the United States.
