LA Capital Names Risk Executive
March 15, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Los Angeles Capital Management, a global manager of institutional equity portfolios, has named Edward Rackham as Director of Risk Management.

Rackham joins LA Capital after spending six years at Wilshire Associates, most recently as the Head of Research and Development of its Equity Analytics Group. In this role, he worked with over 100 institutional money management firms in risk management and equity technology. Prior to this, Rackham was an instructor in Mathematics and Physical Chemistry at Oxford University where he also earned his doctorate, according to a press release.
