In this role, “Kraeger will help accelerate the growth of law, consultant and accountant firm businesses for Aon in North America,” the spokesperson wrote.

Kraeger replaces Barry Matthews and will report to Christine Williams, Aon’s practice leader for global specialty products, global specialty financial services and professional services; and Joe Peiser, Aon’s commercial risk leader for North America, the spokesperson wrote.

Aon’s professional services practice supports accounting; consulting; design and construction; and law firms. At Aon, retirement and investment services are part of the professional services practice, according to the company website.

Kraeger joined Aon in 2021 and has held several leadership roles at the firm. Kraeger was previously chief broking officer for the financial lines group and the professional services practice, the spokesperson explained.

Prior to joining Aon, Kraeger operated a directors and officers claims practice and practiced in the litigation department at Boston law firm Peabody & Arnold. Kraeger is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association and American Bar Association.
