Law Firm Offers Guide to Health Care Reform

August 27, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Global law firm Proskauer announced the release of a handbook for managers on the changes brought about by the new United States health care reform law.

The New Health Care Reform Law: What Employers Need to Know (A Q&A Guide), addresses the challenges now facing employers and benefits advisers in connection with health insurance coverage and related employee benefits, employment law, and other legal issues.   

According to the announcement, topics addressed include:  

  • New coverage mandates employers must provide to employees; 
  • Detailed explanation of grandfathering rules and examples on how to preserve grandfathering status;
