In a press release, Manulife said the arrangement combines a US-based insurer and an employee benefits administration specialist to provide benefits to US employees of Canadian-based firms. The solution meets the need for Canadian employers to provide the same level of benefits to their US employees as to their Canadian employees, Manulife said.
ClearSource’s customer service will help employers and advisers understand the differences in the insurance arena between the US and Canada. It also eliminates the complexity of dealing with different state regulations.
