Mercer Pulls Together Survey Data for Compensation Database

October 28, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Aggregating data from eight different compensation surveys, Mercer Human Resource Consulting has launched a new source of pay data for human resource professionals.

Mercer Benchmark Database combines data from general industry surveys into a single, modular database and offers compensation information for positions in the following areas:

  • Corporate Marketing and Communication
  • E-commerce
  • Executive
  • Finance, Accounting, and Legal
  • Human Resource Management; Information Technology
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The database also includes geographic pay data previously provided in Mercer’s Metropolitan Benchmark Compensation Survey, according to a news release.

Delivered online via Mercer PayMonitor, HR professionals can select positions from one functional area or multiple areas; establish user-defined, custom views of the market; and generate statistics for a customized compensation report. Published reports of predefined, prepackaged statistics from the various modules also are included.

Further, the eight modules of the database can be purchased separately or the entire 2003 Mercer Benchmark Database can be purchased by nonparticipants for $15,000. Participants of the database are offered a discount on the price of the database. To order a copy of this year’s database or to register to participate in 2004, contact Mercer’s Global Information Services group at (800) 333 3070 or surveys@mercer.com.
