According to a Mercer news release, details of the deal were not disclosed in which Mercer will acquire Synhrgy HR Technologies.
Synhrgy’s HR offerings combine technology, service delivery, and program management to support:
- Health & Welfare
- Absence Management
- Pension Administration
- Workforce Administration
- Compensation & Performance Management.
Also, Synhrgy recently signed a five-year health and welfare benefits administration outsourcing agreement with Covance Inc. As part of the pact, Synhrgy agreed to provide Covance with both service support and technologies in the areas of Health and Welfare Administration, including implementation of the Health Care Estimator; Absence Management Solutions; and Total Compensation Statement Management. These services will be provided to approximately 4,500 US-based Covance employees by early 2004.
According to data on its Web site, Synhrgy services 27 Fortune 500, and 13 Global 500 companies, has 375 employees and had $46 million in 2002 revenue.
