MetLife Announces MetLink Facelift

August 27, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - MetLife has rolled out a new version of its employer benefits administration portal MetLink.

The new MetLink version includes a redesign and enhancements that allow for quicker and easier Web site navigation to assist benefits managers in managing their corporate benefit plans.   This adds to MetLink’s functionality, which provides access to benefit plan information and serves as a central reporting location for plan data from remote or satellite offices, according to a news release.

Benefits managers accessing MetLink can use a new Quick Links feature to view their most frequently used options, such as employee benefits enrollment, claims status, or report generation. The enhancements also include:

  • new reporting capabilities
  • enhanced search capability
  • simplified registration process that allows employers to add employee information and update coverage
  • an online library of benefits administration forms.

Additionally, MetLink has new features to improve the efficiency and functionality of disability claims tracking.   This gives employers the ability to access information that can help improve productivity and generate absence metrics.
