M&I Appoints Vice President, Director of Institutional Sales

September 28, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - M&I Investment Management Corp. has appointed Thomas Nolte, formerly of Wells Fargo and Strong Capital Management, as vice president, director of institutional sales.

According to a press release, Nolte served 12 years as vice president, senior account executive with Wells Fargo and Strong Capital Management.

“We are pleased to have Tom join M&I as director of institutional sales,” said Tommy Huie, president and chief investment officer, M&I Investment Management Corp., in the press release. “Tom brings a wealth of experience and will play a key role as we expand our presence in the consultant and corporate marketplace.”

Nolte earned a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School, according to the announcement.

M&I Investment Management Corp. currently has $25 billion under management, with over $9 billion in the Marshall Funds.
