Morneau Shepell Expands Atlanta Operations

November 14, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Morneau Shepell, a provider of technology and outsourcing services for the administration of health, welfare and defined benefit pension plans, will be expanding its operations in Atlanta.

“As our U.S. business continues to grow at a rapid pace, Morneau Shepell is investing in this expansion to increase scale and take advantage of the exceptional talent Atlanta has to offer,” says René Beaudoin, the firm’s chief technology officer and executive vice president of the U.S. region. “The design of the new facility optimizes collaboration and interaction among employees, takes advantage of state-of-the-art technology, and provides services that are consistent with our desire to put people first.”

Morneau Shepell provides a suite of benefits administration services and solutions using a technology platform that scales from software-as-a-service mode to full outsourcing mode.

“This expansion further enhances our ability to provide benefits administration, call center and technology services to our clients and their employees,” says Jared Kesler Smith, the firm’s senior vice president of business development within the U.S. region. “More importantly, it allows us to build on the recent successful launch of our solutions that support health plans on the health care exchanges and in the insurance market.”
