Mutual of Omaha Adds AD&D Features

March 15, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Employers with Mutual of Omaha's Group Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage now have 13 new product features to offer employees.

A company news release said that the few features have been categorized into three product suites. The news release said that the product suites include:

  • The Family Suite – benefits include spouse education, child care center services, child education and continuation of coverage for the insured’s spouse.
  • The Travel Suite – benefits include repatriation, airbag and seatbelt benefit and common carrier
  • The Catastrophe Suite – benefits include home alteration and vehicle modification, coma, hospital confinement daily income, felonious assault and paralysis.   

The announcement said that the new features are available with Basic Life/AD&D or Voluntary Term Life and AD&D policies. More information about the company is at www.mutualofomaha.com .
