A news release said the resources include plan sponsor and participant Web sites, educational workshops, and worksite posters and fliers. The plan sponsor site includes electronic versions of employee communications as well as a calendar of suggested events that plan sponsors could host during the week.
NRS is also partnering with a number of plan sponsors to support onsite events, including Savings Plus, California’s 401(k) and 457 plans for state employees.
“Plan sponsors have many demands on their time and it can be difficult to find opportunities to talk with employees about the importance of saving for retirement,” said Anne Arvia, senior vice president of Retirement Plans for Nationwide Financial, in the news release “We’re here to help ensure that they have the support they need to take advantage of National Save for Retirement Week and help improve the financial future of public-sector employees.”
