Nationwide, SunTrust Join to Offer K Plans

February 21, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Nationwide Financial and Sun Trust Banks will partner to provide retirement plans to SunTrust's small business and commercial clients, the companies announced.

Targets for the new venture will be companies, either without plans, or those with existing plans containing $2 million or less in assets, according to a news release from the companies.

Sun is expected to sell the co-branded plans through SunTrust Securities, its registered broker-dealer affiliate.
