New Benefits Administration Services Announced

(PLANSPONSOR.com) - Colonial Supplemental Insurance says its new Employer Services benefits administration service package may save companies time and money - particularly smaller firms with a limited HR staff.

Colonial said that the package includes:

  • electronic billing through a Web site,
  • benefits enrollment and personalized statements for employees
  • an online benefit reference center with information on tfederal benefits laws such as the Family Medical Leave Act,
  • administration of pretax payroll deduction programs, including personalized plan documents for employees, help with government nondiscrimination testing, and employee communications materials, and
  • administration of flexible spending accounts, which allow workers to set aside pretax dollars to help pay for dependent care and medical expenses.
