New CEO Storms into UBS

April 8, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.COM) - UBS Global Asset Management has named Brian Storms chief executive officer effective July 1, succeeding Benjamin Lenhardt, who will remain chairman of UBS Global Asset Management, Americas, until his planned retirement in 2003.

Currently, Storms is president and chief operating officer at UBS Global Asset Management, Americas.

Prior to his employment at UBS, Storms worked at PaineWebber, before its acquisition by UBS. Before joining PaineWebber he was president of Prudential Investments, which he joined after a stint at Fidelity Investments.

Storms will report to John Fraser who replaced Peter Wuffli last December as chairman and chief executive at UBS Asset Management.
