New Dental Plan Hits the Market
Mutual of Omaha and United Concordia Companies have launched DentaBenefits, a new line of dental insurance plans for employers of all sizes, according to a news release.
United Concordia will be responsible for underwriting, maintaining provider networks, claims handling and customer service. Mutual of Omaha will be the marketer of the line and will provide client service.
Mutual of Omaha began marketing DentaBenefits July 1, with effective dates for new sales beginning September 1, 2004. Clients of Mutual of Omaha’s existing dental plans will be given the opportunity to transition to the DentaBenefits plan at their renewal date beginning November 1.
