New Information Source for Aon HR Clients

October 15, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Aon's HR clients may benefit from additional information now available to them through an agreement to merge WellMed's Health Hub with Aon's online benefits enrollment Web site.

Aon said its HR Portal provides Aon clients and their employees with secure, online health management information and resources.

Aon’s existing benefits enrollment platform allows employees to enroll for benefits, purchase individual financial and insurance products, search for and select a physician and, now with the WellMed   Health Hub, manage their families’ ongoing health needs online.

The company said that its HR Portal enables individuals to:

      

  • access information about medical conditions and diseases  
  • track health through risk assessments  
  • analyze data for family health decisionmaking  
  • save health information in secure, personalized medical records.

  

Through the HR Portal, Aon clients’ employees can have information about specific conditions, such as diabetes, automatically sent to them as new industry information is published, Aon said.
