New Small Biz Online Payroll Program Unveiled

October 2, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Small-company executives looking to take their payroll operation online may want to consider a new online payroll program.

MYOB US, Inc., developer of accounting and business management software for small businesses, announced it was joining with SurePayroll, an online payroll provider, to market the small business online payroll product called MYOB SurePayroll.

According to the product announcement, the new service includes:

  • payroll processing
  • direct deposit management
  • tax filing
  • payment reconciliation with automatic import of payroll processing information into their MYOB product.

The employer retains control of the payroll administration through a secure online account.

With MYOB SurePayroll, employers have the option to provide direct deposit of employee checks or to print checks and paystubs locally. They have complete access to payroll information history as well as current payroll.

Employees get email notification confirming that their pay has been deposited into their bank accounts. At any time, employees can log into their secure MYOB SurePayroll web page to view their pay history and print out pay stubs, the companies said.
