These tools are the newest features of the Northern Trust Retirement Passport, a program that provides Internet account access to over two million 401(k) and defined benefit plan participants.

Developed with Web developer, Business Logic, the education and planning tools comprise series of interactive modules:

  • Quick Balance, a retirement calculator.
  • Asset Allocation, which includes a risk questionnaire and profile,
  • Retirement Planner, which allows users to analyze potential income and savings balances during retirement, and
  • College Planner, a tool designed to help with college saving goals
