Northern Trust Appoints VPs to New Positions

August 30, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Northern Trust has appointed Senior Vice Presidents Connie Lindsey and Kevin Rochford to head groups in its Corporate & Institutional Services business unit.

As Group Head of the Public Entities and Institutions market segment, Lindsey will be responsible for the institutional client servicing of Northern Trust’s public fund, Taft-Hartley, not-for-profit, and correspondent trust clients, according to a company press release.

Lindsey was previously Director of Enterprise Relationship Management within Worldwide Operations & Technology (WWOT) at Northern Trust. She has also served as Deputy Business Unit Head in WWOT, responsible for oversight of the finance, strategic planning, and business recovery functions, and as a Senior Vice President in Northern Trust’s Personal Financial Services business unit, responsible for community banking, personal and business banking for Illinois.

As Group Head of the Large Corporate market segment, Rochford will be responsible for client servicing and business development among Northern Trust’s largest corporate clients in North America, including multinational corporations with global servicing needs, according to the news release. He was previously managing director of sales and client servicing in the United States and Asia for Northern Trust Global Investments. Prior to that he was managing director of Northern Trust Global Investments Europe, Ltd., with responsibility for product management, marketing, operations, and sales and client servicing.
