A news release from NCES said the health beat newsletters are designed so that human resource departments can choose one of 24 topics to distribute to employees.
Each newsletter includes nutrition education researched by dietitians as well as tips, fitness information, and recipes. The company said each newsletter has been professionally researched, written, graphically designed and can be incorporated into existing communications tools.
“Progressive companies want to help employees maintain a healthy lifestyle,” says Chris Jackson, NCES president, in the news release. “Employers are becoming educators of their workforce and nutrition education is an increasingly important topic as companies try to find ways to manage health care costs.”
