NYLB Provides Online Guidance for Participants

May 10, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - New York Life Benefit Services LLC (NYLB) introduced Retirement Strategist, an online guide that allows 401(k) plan participants to evaluate their investments and adjust their asset allocations accordingly.
Reported by
  Features of the product include:
  • a one-page snapshot of the participants NYLB retirement accounts; 
  • a gap analysis, which helps the participant define his current retirement scenario, eventual goals and the amount still needed to satisfy those goals;
  • a fund analysis, which evaluates the funds in the plan and generates a choice of portfolios;
  • an allocation tool, which suggests an asset allocation based on the participant?s retirement needs, time horizon, risk tolerance and available funds.

The new product rollout will occur on a plan-by-plan basis to existing customers.  It will be available on NYLB?s participant Web site.
