NYLIM Announces Management Reshuffling

October 25, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - New York Life Retirement Plan Services, a division of New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM), has named Joan Driscoll to the position of managing director of the client strategy group.

A NYLIM news release said Driscoll will now oversee the relationship management team and lead client strategy initiatives. In addition, she will continue to oversee the participant service center. Driscoll will report to Tom Clough, senior managing director, according to the company.

Driscoll was formerly managing director of client and participant service and administration.

According to the announcement, Manuel Mauricio will head the plan administration team and will report to Clough. Peter Kooken, formerly director of marketing, will become director of client strategy, reporting to Driscoll.

Wendy Wong will become director of marketing and will report to Jeff Keller, managing director of strategy and marketing. Wong previously had led participant product development initiatives.

The company said Trudy Kaehler was tapped as director of its participant strategy group, which includes the participant communications development group, communications consulting, and participant experience efforts. Kaehler joined New York Life in early 2007 from Fidelity Investments where she was vice president of participant experience. Kaehler also reports to Clough.

Steven Dorval, managing director, has been appointed to run New York Life Retirement Plan Services’ asset retention and consolidation initiatives. He will also oversee the trust operations. Dorval will also continue to oversee investment services, his current role, and will continue reporting to Don Salama.
