OPERS Seeks Recordkeeper, Stable Value Fund Manager

August 23, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The Oklahoma Public Employee Retirement System is looking for a recordkeeper and stable value fund manager for its 457 and 401(a) plans.

The Board of Trustees of OPERS, which is charged with the administration of the Oklahoma State Employees Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP) and the Oklahoma State Employees Deferred Savings Incentive Plan (SIP), jointly referred to as “SoonerSave,” has issued two requests for proposals (RFPs).  

As of 6/30/11 assets in the 457 plan totaled $540,930,929 with total accounts (active and retired/terminated) of 35,220. As of 6/30/11 assets in the 401(a) plan totaled $143,521,207 with total accounts of 35,366.  

As of 6/30/11 assets in the 457 plan Stable Value Fund totaled $219,373,674. As of 6/30/11 assets in the 401(a) plan Stable Value Fund totaled $65,105,040.
