Oppenheimer Kicks Off Yearly Fiduciary Reviews

June 7, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - OppenheimerFunds has unveiled a program for annual plan reviews involving the plan sponsor, a financial advisor and an Oppenheimer representative to help advisors better work with sponsors in meeting their fiduciary responsibility.

The Annual Fiduciary Review Program, designed to be conducted via a conference call between the plan sponsor, the financial advisor and the OppenheimerFunds’ Client Relationship Manager (CRM), encompasses a thorough plan review.

The study effort also covers the plan’s investments and ways to increase plan participation, tools to manage asset allocation and account rebalancing, and an introduction to new participant and plan sponsor education programs.

Utilizing a two-part approach, the advisor focuses on reviewing the investment options in the plan while the CRM covers the plan’s report card while providing valuable industry information. The CRM will also discuss tips to increase participation and the tools that OppenheimerFunds has developed to assist the plan sponsor in managing fiduciary responsibilities.
