Options Software Provider Unveils Options Ed. Program

July 29, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - A stock option planning software provider has unveiled an education and planning service aimed at properly orienting employees about how best to handle equity compensation programs.

In a news release, Net Worth Strategies, Inc. said its corporate equity compensation education and planning program is being offered through a nationwide network of certified advisory firms.   StockOpter Corporate Services provides personalized education and individual planning to make sure that employees both understand and are motivated by the wealth-building potential of their equity compensation, the company said.

The StockOpter Corporate Services program also surveys participants to measure attitudes and knowledge about equity compensation.   Summary data is then provided to the company to help executives measure effectiveness and to quantify the value of their program.

“Most employees have no idea what they are forfeiting in potential value when they either leave a company or fail to help it achieve its financial objectives,” Bill Dillhoefer, Director of Marketing for Net Worth Strategies, said in the news release.   “In addition, most companies have no means of measuring effectiveness or quantifying the return on their equity compensation investment so the rationale for offering these programs lacks a strong foundation.”
