Overture and ForestView Partner Up

April 14, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Overture Asset Managers, LLC and Chicago-based, Forest View Partners LLC have entered into a strategic partnership.

The partnership will bring together an asset management holding company that acquires and manages “boutique” investment advisors in Overture and ForestView’s financial services consulting service, primarily in mergers and acquisitions, business development and sales, marketing and distribution.   Overture and ForestView will work together to identify and jointly pursue new business opportunities focusing on these specialties.

This represents the second deal in the past month for Overture.   Earlier in April, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, OAM Avatar, LLC, Overture agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets of Avatar Investors Associates Corp, a New York-based investment advisor, which manages approximately $1.5 billion in assets.
