A UBS news release said Pellerin is responsible for leading the ALIS offering for North American pension plans and driving the development of the business in the Americas. Additionally, he will lead the design of pension solutions and oversee their strategic implementation.
According to the company, Pellerin is a member of the Strategic Investment Advisory (SIA) team, which is a part of the Global Investment Solutions business of UBS Global Asset Management, and he will work with colleagues in distribution and in the UBS Investment Bank.
Pellerin joins UBS from JP Morgan’s investment banking division, where he was responsible for developing, presenting and implementing risk management strategies within that firm’s Pension Advisory Group. Prior to that, he was with the Financial Strategy Group of Citigroup’s investment banking division, where he led retirement benefits analyses for major corporate pension plan sponsors, and with Towers Perrin, where he led the Legacy Pension Solutions effort for the New York office.
