Providers Join Forces to Aid with Equity Compensation Reporting

October 10, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Spectrum Human Resource Systems Corp. and Equity Administration Solutions, Inc. (EASi) have announced an agreement in which Spectrum will offer EASi's equity administration product, EMS, for use in conjunction with Spectrum's iVantage human resource management system (HRMS).

According to the announcement, Spectrum selected EASi and its EMS product based on advanced features and recording and reporting capabilities. EASi’s solution is secure and enables equity plan administrators, authorized brokers, transfer agents, outsourced plan administrators and employees access to information.

Vito Palmieri, CEO of EASi said in the announcement EMS provides 175 FAS reports, real-time reporting with GAAP compliant expensing, and supports multiple stock award types.

“Although equity based plans may continue to be administered outside of HR, the grants, administration, reporting and analysis must be collaboratively integrated with other ongoing HR information and activities. Together, Spectrum and EASi provide the combined solution that is needed today,” said Jim Spoor, chairman and founder of Spectrum.

The EMS system is an FAS 123R compliant, broker independent, scalable, auditable software for financial management and equity reporting.
