Pru Taps New Client Services Chief

July 31, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Prudential Financial has tapped a new senior executive for its Retirement Services unit.

According to a company announcement, Jeffrey Wirth received the nod to become senior vice president in charge of client services and new business services.

Wirth will manage teams in Scranton, Pennsylvania and Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Prior to joining Prudential Financial, Wirth was vice president, Retirement Services, at MassMutual Financial Group. He was responsible for leading a client service organization that included defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified clients.

Prudential Retirement Services manages approximately $25 billion in defined contribution retirement assets in 7,000-plus retirement plans for more than one million plan participants.
