Steve Wolfenberger Joins Alliant Insurance Services as Vice President in California 

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. announced the addition of Steve Wolfenberger as vice president within its employee benefits group. Based in California, Wolfenberger will serve midsize employers across the Western region, delivering customized benefits strategies tailored to financial and workforce needs.

Wolfenberger’s background includes insurance underwriting, financial modeling and employee engagement.  

“Steve’s ability to translate complex financial models into actionable strategies and pair them with effective employee engagement programs makes him a valuable addition to our team,” said Kevin Overbey, Alliant Employee Benefits’ president, in a statement.  

Ares Management Appoints Sarah Cole as Co-Head of Global Capital Solutions

Ares Management Corp. named Sarah Cole as partner and co-head of its global capital solutions team, joining current Co-Head Roshan Chagan in the newly formed leadership structure. 

Cole will be responsible for strengthening Ares’ strategic relationships across banking, insurance and capital markets. She will collaborate with firm senior leaders to enhance investment sourcing and centralize capital markets activities to better serve Ares’ counterparties. 

Previously, Cole served as managing director at the Alberta Investment Management Corp., where she led firm-wide strategic relationships and private credit deployment. She also held senior roles at Barclays—in structured credit—and at Goldman Sachs in high-yield and other banking capacities. 

Brad Stelzer Joins Knight Foundation as Director of Private Investments

The Knight Foundation appointed Brad Stelzer as director of private investments. Stelzer has more than 15 years of institutional and family office investment experience. 

Stelzer most recently served as senior investment officer at American Trading and Production Corp., a Baltimore-based single family office. His career also includes investment roles at Lockheed Martin Corp. and the Montgomery County Employee Retirement Plans. He began his career at PwC and has served in volunteer finance and investment roles for various organizations. 

Coller Capital Adds Burke Bradford and Kevin Peters to Private Wealth Team 

Coller Capital Ltd. expanded its U.S. private wealth secondaries solutions team with the appointments of Burke Bradford and Kevin Peters as directors 

Bradford will be based in Dallas, overseeing private wealth distribution across Texas and neighboring states. His most recent role was at Privacore Capital, and he previously spent more than a decade at Nuveen, where he led fundraising across private wealth channels.  

Peters, based in Boise, Idaho, will cover Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. He also joins from Privacore and has 14 years of experience, including roles at TCW and PIMCO, with a strong focus on private markets.
