Ricard Joins ERIC as Vice President Retirement Security

June 20, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Kathryn Ricard has joined The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) as Vice President of Retirement Policy.

Ricard worked previously as an independent consultant on regulatory, compliance, advocacy and legislative services, and earlier she was Vice President Retirement & Pensions with the American Council of Life Insurers. At ACLI she worked with both congressional staff and Administration officials on retirement security policy issues, according to a press release.

Prior to her ACLI experience, Kathryn worked at the Investment Company Institute as an associate counsel on federal legislation and regulations affecting the ICI’s members. Among other positions, Kathryn also was an associate with the Groom Law Group and was an employee benefits specialist with the U. S. Department of Labor.

She replaces Rosemary Becchi who is moving to the New York area with her husband who has taken a new position with a New York accounting firm.
