Roland Criss Offers Tool to Measure Fiduciary Responsibility

March 7, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Roland Criss Fiduciary Services has released a benchmarking tool that measures risk exposure for fiduciaries of retirement plan sponsors, foundations, and endowments by matching a fiduciary committee's current and historical practices against the Global Fiduciary Standard of Excellence.

Roland Criss’ ISP Rating measures fiduciary responsibility as defined under federal and state regulations and legal precedents.

The Global Fiduciary Standard of Excellence was developed by the Center for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX) and identifies the separate accountabilities of entities that comprise the fiduciary universe.  This includes plan sponsors, investment advisers and investment managers, according to a news release.

“Without a system of defined and objective practices that defines how to function effectively, fiduciary committees are at a significant disadvantage,” said Ron Hagan, Chief Operating Officer at Roland Criss. “In their current state, most executives would find that fiduciary laws are virtually impossible to fulfill and measure.”

RolandCriss’ ISP Rating is an embedded feature within the company’s Fiduciary Governance Reviews.
