According to the announcement, 403(b) Market Monitor Vendor Profiles have the same “look and feel” of RRI’s 401(k) product andoffers in-depth analysis of product features, pricing, and distribution strategies.
Profiles were developed by using multiple sources of company and product data including annual reports, product and fund prospectuses, annuity contracts and collateral sales and marketing materials, the announcement said. RRI also completed extensive research on company Web sites (for the sponsor, participant and financial professionals) and reviewed industry publications and newsletters.
The initial set of profiles features nine companies in the 403(b) market – Diversified, Fidelity, Great-West, ING, Lincoln, MassMutual, MetLife, Principal, and TIAA-CREF. The announcement said other companies will be added based on market activity and client interest.
The 403(b) Market Monitor Vendor Profiles service is offered as a subscription program and includes annual updates incorporating significant changes in product, pricing, or company positioning.
