Sain Departs Wachovia for Mercer

October 17, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Benefits outsourcing firm Mercer has named Kerry Sain as North American Sales Leader for its outsourcing business, effective November 3.

In this role, Sain will be responsible for leading all sales-related functions for the US and Canadian markets to optimize Mercer’s growth and footprint. She will report to Michael Sternklar, COO and Head of the Americas for Mercer’s outsourcing business.

Sain joins Mercer from Wachovia Bank where she served as Senior Vice President, Director of Sales. In this role she organized and led small, core, and large market sales teams across multiple channels of distribution.

Prior to Wachovia, she held senior-level sales and client service positions at AllianceBernstein, Prudential Retirement Services, Strong Funds Retirement Plan (Milwaukee), First Bank (Milwaukee) and Firstar Bank/Firstar Trust Company (Milwaukee), according to a press release.
