Sandra Whiston Named Head of Putnam Institutional Sales

has announced the return of Sandra Whiston as head of
institutional sales and relationships management.

According to a news release from the company, Whiston – who had been at Fidelity Management and Research for eight months – will take over the post as of April 12. Before working with Fidelity, Whiston had been with Putnam for 18 years in its institutional business.
Whiston joined the firm originally as a fund accountant and worked in product management and investment services, as well as investment strategy and research and business strategy.
Whiston takes over for Jeffrey Gould, who resigned to work at a New York-based hedge fund, according to the announcement.
