Schwab Beefs Up Fund Offerings on Adviser Platform
According to a news release, Schwab Retirement Advisor Services has a total of 82 fund families and more than 2,500 investment options across all asset classes . The platform offers a combination of A share classes and retirement share classes.
The announcement said the 23 new fund families on the platform include:

- Dreyfus
- Frontegra Funds
- Harbor Funds
- Jennision Dryden
- Julias Baer
- Keeley
- Laudus
- Legg Mason Partners Funds
- Nicholas Funds
- Nuveen
- Old Mutual
- Payden Funds
- Riversource
- RS Funds
- Russell
- Schroders
- Wells Fargo Advantage Funds
- Wells Real Estate Fund
The Schwab Retirement Advisor Services platform has also added AIG Valic and Prudential Investment funds suitable for 403(b) plans, and makes available approximately 300 collective trust funds from 30 providers.
Schwab Retirement Advisor Services, originally launched in March 2005, allows TPAs to better work with commission-based retirement advisers, the company said.
