Securian Debuts New Web site to Aid DC Plan Sponsors
August 25, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Employers can now find more information faster about their Securian Retirement plans on the company’s new Web portal for defined contribution plan sponsors.
Reported by Tara Cantore
The new site includes:
- A dashboard landing page organized with plan administrators and fiduciaries in mind, which gives users access to the tools and information they use most;
- A new employee summary page that presents all employee information on a single screen, including the plan features and services chosen by each employee; and
- Enhanced security that protects sensitive information and allows users to manager their IDs and passwords online.
“We started this redesign with a lot of research about how our plan sponsors told us they use the Web to manage their plans,” said Rick Ayers, vice president, Securian Financial Group, Inc., in a press release. “The result is a site that’s more secure with simplified navigation that sophisticated and casual users will appreciate. It’s what our plan sponsors asked for.”
The banner at the top of the SecurianRetirementCenter.com homepage leads to a tutorial that walks plan sponsors through the site improvements.
