Shipman Named Putnam Regional 401(k) Sales Director for Midwest

Investments announced it has named Carroll Shipman as senior
vice president, Regional 401(k) Sales Director for the
Midwest region.

Shipman will be responsible for 401(k) sales and marketing through financial institutions in the Midwest. According to the announcement, he will report to David C. Tyrie, Managing Director and Head of Defined Contributions.
Prior to joining Putnam, Shipman was vice president and regional sales director for Wachovia Retirement Services, where he had been employed since 2000. He began his career at Regions Bank, formerly Amsouth Bank, in 1995.
