SHPS Ties Things Together with New Branding

April, 8, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - SHPS has introduced Carewise Health as the brand identity for its integrated portfolio of clinical, financial, and administrative solutions.

According to a press release, Louisville, Kentucky-based SHPS created the Carewise Health brand in response to growing interest from large and mid-sized employers and third party administrators for an “…integrated health solution that unites population health management, spending accounts, and benefit administration services in a person-centric delivery model.”   SHPS also unveiled a new corporate Web site, http://www.carewisehealth.com .

According to the firm, Carewise Health solutions enable plan sponsors to create a consistent and meaningful experience for individual participants while consolidating workflows, data management, and analytics on a single vendor platform.  

Currently, several SHPS products are branded Carewise Health, including health management and portal products for large employers. Over time, SHPS will convert most of its participant-facing products and materials to the Carewise Health brand, while select product lines will retain the Landacorp and SHPS identities.  

SHPS launched the company’s enterprise-wide participant portal in the fall of 2007, creating a single Web site for all participant applications. In addition, the March 2008 launch of its wellness solution created what the firm says was “the industry’s first total population management solution available on a single delivery system.”

SHPS serves large and mid-sized employers, government agencies, and third-party administrators through the company’s Carewise Health, Landacorp, and SHPS brands.
