Societe Generale Announces Structured Products Web Site

A Societe Generale news release said the Web site provides illustrative information about structured investment products as a source for both distributors and institutional and qualified individual investors who wish to remain informed of new developments in this rapidly evolving area of investing.

Highlights of the Web site include payoff illustrations, secondary market metrics, and a dedicated new issues page to highlight current products and underlying innovations.

According to the Structured Products Association, issuance has quadrupled in the last five years reaching $120 billion in 2007, the news release said.
